Sustainability Operations Internship
Do you have an interest in Water, Sustainability and Big Data? Are you excited to work on the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure? Are you passionate about making an impact in water, and sustainability industry? In this role, you will support AWS’s commitment to be water positive by 2030 by helping lower water use.
The program offers the opportunity to specialize in an area of interest including:
• Water Operations - dive deep into water infrastructure, controls solutions, data and asset information, work with internal stakeholders and use analytical skills to assess data, support the internal efficiency metrics on cooling assets across the region. (Engineering focus)
• Data Analytics - Work with internal teams to develop water reporting dashboards, recognise and drive adoption of best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation, identify and scope improvements. (Data Analytics and reporting focus)
The internship is based in our corporate office and may require travel to Data Center sites across Dublin.

Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in degree program with a graduation date between June and December 2025.
• Majoring in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related science/technical fields.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to assess data analytically to determine irregularities and areas for further investigation
• Able to work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to detail
• Be a passionate self-starter
• Experience with software and commercial technologies such as Tableau, SQL, etc. Write high quality code to retrieve and analyse data.
