Against this background we have set up a new unit “Sustainability” within Motion Control. This unit is tasked with driving the sustainability agenda of MC, including not only the products we offer to our customer, but also our self-imposed obligation to more sustainability in our own value chain, as expressed in the Siemens’ DEGREE framework. What part will you play?
In your new role, you develop our Sustainability Motion Control IT architecture worldwide. Your focus is on gathering insides how to fulfil and optimize our sustainability product roadmap goals, utilizing IT functionalities.
Therefore, you drive data integration from different IT systems, develop scaling functions, and coordinate bugfixes and enhancements of tools in use.
Moreover, you identify potential for further automation of EPD generation and environmental reporting procedures.
You are in close contact and collaboration with our IT colleagues and EPD experts, to discuss our project roadmap, define next steps, oversee the development process and create testcases for validation.
What you need to make real what matters.
University degree in sustainability management or IT.
Several years of experience in the area of IT and Sustainability as well as broad experience in project management.
Proven professional experience in industrial digitization/automation and our Digital Industries portfolio.
Very good knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter and other relevant IT tools.
International experience and business proficiency in German and English.
