Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.
What your background should look like:
• Identify Production needs through the observation and analysis of generated information
• Able to develop in high pressure environments
• Self-organized and analytical capabilities
• Able to coordinate and monitor people in the production floor (Direct and Indirect Labor)
• Follow up to execution against the production plan previously defined
• Define opportunities to improve and execute plan to achieved
• Able to work against objectives
• Decision making and needed actions to maintain KPI's
• Coordinate support team (Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, MRF)
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as production supervisor
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or equivalent, with 3 years of experience in a demanding in production environment.
• Experience and knowledge in the field of tool and assembly construction.
• Systems management, SAP or other ERP's
• Office tools such Excel, Power Point
• Conflicts management
• Teamwork player
• Leadership
• English in professional level
