We are currently seeking a Support Service Team Lead to work in a accessioning office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen accessioning and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Monday-Friday 5:30pm-2:00am with rotating holidays and weekends

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the accessioning departmentHelp lead the team in their daily processes and procedures.Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areasEncourage process improvements and best practices.Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Resolve any production errors as requested by management.Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary.Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures.Perform administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentAssociate or bachelor's degree is a plus.3 years of relevant experience; preferably in a clinical laboratoryPrior leadership experience is a plus.Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferredStrong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills; both written and verbalHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position.
