SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (USATC-2024-20024):
Bowhead is seeking a Supply Technician to join our team at Fort Jackson, SC for our newly created Ammunition Supply Point division. The supply technician will be conducting supply duties to resolve issues encountered in the Central Issue Facility (CIF) supporting the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). Typical duties will include standard segments of supply management operations and a successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, supply regulations, policies, work methods, or other established guidelines in place at the LRC.
Responsibilities
Essential functions will include:
Properly maintaining the stock record account using Standard Army Ammunition System-Modified and other Logistics Information Systems.
Providing resources and supply functions, ammunition accountability utilizing Logistics Information Systems i.e., Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) and Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS), Munitions History Program (MHP), Transportation Management System (TMS), National Level Ammunition Capability (NLAC) and other munitions related platforms.
Verifying ammunition residue against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Ensuring automated and manual accounting records are established and maintained by ensuring receipts, turn-in, due-ins and due-outs are posted and documented correctly.
Operating Standard Army Ammunition System-Modified (SAAS-MOD) and ammunition accountability operations services supporting the project.
Managing materials and assets for ASP operations, coordinate transportation of retrograde supplies and or equipment, track equipment operators, oversee SAAS-MOD, customer reconciliations and respond to SAAS-MOD troubleshooting.
Receiving, storing, and turning-in a wide variety of ammunition residue including small arms, artillery projectiles, powder canisters, fuses, rockets, missiles, smoke, illumination and white phosphorous pyrotechnics, mines and other items.
Properly preparing residue for turn-in which may include completing DA Form 1348-1A and other required documents.
Assisting in establishing, updating, and maintaining department files in accordance with Government regulations and SOPs.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required at a minimum in addition to experience in a Supply Technician role
Basic Ammunition Certifications (Ammo-45,67,68, and 108) is required and must be able pass local ammunition security screenings
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and be able to pass the background check to have unaccompanied access to arms, ammunition, and explosives
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
Must be able to problem solve and perform research using related applicable regulations
Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 pounds unassisted in the warehouse environment.
Must be able to operate in a prolonged standing environment, for up to eight hours.
Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites at times in the performance of duties.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Pubic Trust level. US Citizenship is required for a Public Trust clearance at this location. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.
