The Sikorsky Supply Chain Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the supply chain composites strategy. This critical role will be lead strategy development and drive the relationships with our Key Composite Suppliers as the single point of contact for Sikorsky Line of Business in Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS). This position reports directly to Vice President, Sikorsky Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own and drive the relationship with our Key Composite Suppliers as the single point of contact for Lockheed Martin, RMS Sikorsky.
• Lead high visibility composite product strategy, to support key Market Segments within Sikorsky LOB to coordinate with the program, customer and supply chain leadership teams as significant program schedule impacts are anticipated
• Manage Partnerships with composite suppliers as the RMS Lead to continually evaluate long-term relationships as well as the long term road map, pricing models and negotiations
• Partner with Sikorsky engineering to assure the ability to quickly resolve drawing and qualification issues with business and composite suppliers
• Layout road map for composite supply base that supports future program requirements
• Position will require significant travel (approx. 50%) within the United States to Suppliers and Sikorsky CT facility
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12 years or more of professional experience; •Intimate knowledge of Supply Chain, Operations and Program Management is required for this position
•Strong business acumen
•Proven ability to lead and empower a matrix team for work optimization and execution
•Ability to program manage complex transitions
•Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
•Ability to interface with Senior & Executive Leadership and drive decision making and execution
Desired Skills:
•Prefer experience with Sikorsky.
•Stratford, CT work location is preferred.
•Familiarity with composite manufacturing, processes & materials
•Candidate will be required to:
•Develop an effective operating model for driving supplier performance
•Oversee status of projects, manage budgets, schedules and executive communication out-briefs and drive action plans to closure
•Remove barriers that inhibit improvement opportunities
•Drive short-term and long-term strategies with composite suppliers
•Position will work with all aspects of Operations, Market Segments, and cross-functional teams across the Enterprise
•Provide strategic thought leadership over existing model and develop and execute both tactical and strategic elements within composites portfolio
•Define and implement metrics to monitor progress and results
•Effectively engage team members across the organization to foster business transformation.
•Coordinate the appropriate human and operational resources.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $140,400 - $269,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
