Summary

As a Supply Chain Specialist for our Fluid Systems Division in North Hollywood, CA, you will be tasked with formulating, negotiating, and administrating large-scale or highly complex and high-risk subcontracts. Your role will ensure adherence to supplier cost, timeline, legal stipulations, and performance benchmarks. Additionally, you may handle matters related to materials for new program development and act as the primary point of contact for a range of outsourcing initiatives.
This role is primarily in North Hollywood with occasional visits to our Irvine offices. This position does not have direct reports.

Responsibilities
· Provide ownership of purchased parts in support of on-time customer deliveries for assigned product lines.
· Proactively identify risks in the purchased part value stream and mitigate those risks by working with product line stakeholders and the supply chain.
· Actively interface with stakeholders including engineering, purchasing, quality, and supplier development to improve delivery performance and communication.
· Develop and utilize suitable reporting and performance management tools to measure performance to goals and brief the business teams and executive management.
· Provide critical purchased part updates and associated action plans to Parker customers with the support of the responsible business team.
· Team with other supply chain functions to target and implement corrective action plans for suppliers impacting delivery to customers.
· Perform supplier visits to identify and remove obstacles preventing delivery of critical purchased parts.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field(e.g. finance, law/contract law; program management), or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired througheight or more years of increasingly responsible experiencein contract administration or procurement including two or more years of high-level project and customer/supplier management.
Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPM) or Contracts Management and prior international subcontracting experience desired.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Knowledge of standard procurement compliance practices, familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal and project management skills; demonstrated ability to work with engineers and all levels of management.
Must be detail oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and persuade/influence others.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. We aim to offer a base pay that aligns with the midpoint of our salary range. Pay Range: $98,429 - $164,140.
