Boeing Supply Chain Asia Business Development team is seeking a Supply Chain Program Management Lead. With minimal management oversight, this person will be responsible for supply chain development activities in Vietnam, including but not limited to:
Developing and lead supply chain business development initiatives in line with country strategies,
Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders and ensures supply chain development initiatives are executed smoothly by proactively identifying business risks and mitigation plans.
Lead and participate in on-site supplier assessments to identify supplier capability and to support Boeing procurement strategy
Identify work statement opportunities and recommend training and mentoring on business and manufacturing practices to enhance supplier capability.
Support with supply chain operation the execution of work movement plans
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, external stakeholders and industry officials.
Engages with local suppliers and formulates business propositions to enhance Boeing's supply chain stability across all business units.
Communicate report status and concerns across Boeing functions and to senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Min. 10 years of supply chain function experience in a heavy/manufacturing industry environment
Experience in project management and cross functional team leadership
Entrepreneurial thinker. Able to link strategy-to-action.
Culturally adaptive
Self-starter, influencer, proactive & positive.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in both written and verbal English
Ability to travel periodically within Asia
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Professional level of local language for verbal and written is required, such as Vietnamese, Indonesia Bahasa or Mandarin.
Experience and knowledge in aviation/airline industry in Vietnam/Indonesia/Malaysia/Singapore.
Experience working under the global team environment
Engineering background
Bachelor degree in the relevant field
Experience conducting supplier assessments leading to actionable improvements
Aviation/aircraft engineering and/or manufacturing process knowledge
Supply Chain certification: CPIM, CLTD, CSCP
Lean Six Sigma certification
