Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages Business Operations performance and supply of hardware for the data centers. The role of Operations Planner/Manager will help develop and manage processes and capabilities that enable the supply chain operations team to meet the financial goals, increase on time delivery and reduce cycle time.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be an individual contributor responsible for supporting inventory planning processes and strategies across the Supply Chain Operations Planning function of Microsoft’s Azure Cloud.
Monthly MPS Planning for server hardware across the Systems Integration Partners
Working with internal partners on weekly and monthly supply supportability process
Development of FGI warehouse strategy leveraging Lean ROP principles to drive replenishment
Work with NPI, Mission Control and CSCP partner teams to manage pilot to growth ramp with SI’s
Allocation of constrained materials across with partner teams and SI’s
Working with SI’s to develop inventory management strategies in support of Cycle Time and Financials goals
Support monthly interlocks with SI’s creating awareness, understanding and visibility to plan changes and business objectives
Drive continuous performance and process improvements including development of tools
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 7+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
OR equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience in supply chain, Demand/Supply planning, Sourcing or Operations
Preferred
4 years working experience in Operations Supply Planning
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in electronics, telecommunications, and/or information technologies in a supply chain supporting of hardware or software
Experience in project or program management with proven track record of successfully setting up and executing supply chain operational processes
Extensive experience in leading cross functional internal and external global teams for supply chain operations
Cloud / high tech supply chain experience is a plus
Knowledge supply planning disciplines and best practices
Experience with supply chain analytics and modeling techniques
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and report out both verbally and in writing
Strong influencing skills and ability to build strong relationships across multiple layers in the organization
Distinctive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement and drive continuous improvement actions to gain efficiencies in a matrix environment
Proven capabilities in operating in a growing, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Experience with SAP IBP Supply Planning or similar supply planning tools such as Kinaxis, SAP-IBP, Oracle Cloud Planning, etc. is desirable.
Proficient with business tools (e.g. word, excel modeling, power point slides) and able to generate quality outputs
