The Intel New Mexico (NM) Site is expanding to support the company's key strategies and to support that growth we are investing in Operation Manager position. This position within supply chain supports Intel's Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation New Mexico Fab, Assembly/Test, and packaging for the company's Foveros, EMIB, Silicon Photonics, and Intel Foundry Systems business.
Candidates for this position must have strong partnership, analytical, and communication skills as they work closely with factory customers and other partner groups to gather and clarify business requirements, identify opportunities/issues to address, and translate those into strategic and tactical plans.
To achieve key Factory business objectives the Operation Manager must work with their team to influence and partner across many factory and cross organizational stakeholders including Process Engineering, Production, Planning, Finance, logistics, Development Program Managers and Factory Managers.
Responsibilities include:
Creates and maintain connections from the broader supply chain to the Factory and assume ownership of escalations.
Translates manufacturing, market dynamics, and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to bills of materials risk assessment/mitigation, inventory health/optimization, streamlined/reliable supply chain and the total cost to business.
Works closely in collaboration with cross functional staff to define customer demand and early raw materials requirements and drive planning and procurement activities at both product and cross product platform levels
Ensures that bills of materials integrity, materials availability, cost, and quality goals are set and successfully achieved.
Partner with the factories to drive the lowest possible materials and service impact to tool availability.
Assess appropriate inventory and service schedules to support factory SLA’s and quality requirements.
Provides assessments/status to stakeholders at multiple levels, establishes contingency and gap closure plans, and closely monitors fab-specific availability indicator plans.
Analyzes data to develop and design solutions for complex processes.
Participates in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization.
Works with cross organizational teams to drive forward looking supply chain solutions.
Ensures tight linkages to each business unit's production requirements to enable output maximization while balancing cost and inventory control.
Creates and maintain connections from the broader supply chain to the Factory and assume ownership of escalations.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
8+ years’ experience in high tech hardware or semiconductor Industries, in an operations role (manufacturing, product development, supply chain strategy, planning, etc.)
Supply Chain certifications (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (ME, ChE, EE, IE), Physics, Material Science
Experienced with the end-to-end semiconductor product cycle, from design through manufacturing, with a proven track record of successfully developing and executing business performance improvement initiatives.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
