Are you looking to be an owner in the planning of one of the fastest growing last mile providers for Amazon? This role is focused on the volume flow via parcel attainment and jurisdiction area with Heavy Bulky, Super Rural, and Hub for Rural Super Rural (RSR).
What is RSR?
Rural Super Rural (RSR) is an emerging organization that executes delivery of small parcel and heavy/bulky packages in rural communities across North America. We merge multiple service types to enhance the customer experience in communities which we don't currently service including scheduled delivery of Heavy/ bulky freight and customer facing services to accept customer returns.
The Role:
The Mid Term Planning Supply Chain Manager is responsible for generating a hiring and forward looking plan using upstream Attainment and Topline assumptions, hiring timelines, and ramp expectations to deliver an MTP plan during a biweekly 13-week horizon cycle. This role will be responsible for maximizing station outputs, ensuring strict planning accuracy, and balancing upstream volume attainment and share of all Amazon parcels in the service area. They will be responsible for multiple regions and sites across North America and will interface with multi Level Leadership to drive planning success and identify opportunities to balance station capacity with topline volume and ramping performance. They will closely work with North America Transportation and Supply Chain stakeholders to balance volume across their territories and work to identify and solve volume flow issues related to capacity, middle mile connections, and configuration errors. The MTP Planner is constantly collecting and aggregating the most up to date information such as topline, zip-share forecasting and jurisdictional coverage and connecting with teams to understand the health of the network. They develop a large number of relationships with diverse teams, maintains frequent contact with these teams, and have a broad understanding of the functioning of the network.
Key job responsibilities
Key Job Responsibilities:
-Create, optimize, and solicit the bi-weekly MTP plan for their territory (East) and gain alignment with downstream partners before publishing the final plan into the planning systems
-Drive innovation in planning tools and develop impact statements to Amazon Metrics for deviations in plan or actual performance
-Lead ramping discussions weekly to bridge network level performance and identify trends in projections which predict changes to the MTP.
-Develops End to End process ownership for High Volume Event Planning (Prime Day, Peak, etc.)
Influence tools and system changes with BI and Tech teams and participate in the tool roadmaps in OP1 and OP2
-Develop weekly dashboards on site level performances and deliver resolutions for sites out of planning tolerance
-Maintain a high bar for planning accuracy and drive changes to planning inputs when stations are outside of performance tolerance
-Engage with other Amazon businesses and partners to improve planning accuracy
-Travel Domestically up to 20%

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent education/experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
