Key job responsibilities
• Managing strategic programs that span across Amazon’s entire supply chain.
• Spearheading new initiatives that enable growth, enhance our processes, and lower costs for our customers.
• Building strong partnership with operations field leaders to identify impact of new business initiatives in operations and successfully integrate and deploy them onsite.
• Innovating to improve customer experience and remove costs from our network.
• Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes.
• Managing backlog of programs and coordinating prioritization with internal and external project owners.
• Building new tools and metrics that help streamline daily operations.
• Working with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.
• Challenge and influence big leaders.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Ability to drive projects from initially ambiguous states.
• Ability to travel 25% each quarter.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of supply chain experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
3 years+ direct supervision experience in Operations, Consulting, Manufacturing, Production, Transportation, or Supply Chain
Experience managing an operations workforce while delivering on performance metrics and process improvement
Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations
Candidates must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Ability to lead a national team to meet business needs
Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in ambiguous situations
Ability to think big and influence others from regional directors to area managers on new processes, tools, and business needs in order to integrate a new business into an existing model
Demonstrated ability to successfully develop others into higher levels of leadership in an organization
PMP, Six Sigma, Lean certification preferred
SQL and other data expertise preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
