  We are currently sourcing a Supply Chain Manager to join our high performing diverse, operations extended leadership team at our Ballytivnan site in Co. Sligo.

  In this role, you will manage the supply chain for Medical Device and Biologics business including maintenance of high internal and external customer service levels and management of inventory.

  Here is a snapshot of your responsibilities:

  Oversight of the supply chain team and warehouse management in the medical device and biologics sector supporting highly regulated area of manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI).

  Maintain and enhance effective supply chain processes including S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, collaborative planning, order fulfillment, NPI and change processes.

  Responsible for all warehouse operations and material management ensuring best practices are followed including Cold Chain shipments.

  Ensure Customer focus and product availability through effective management of MRP (Material requirement planning) / MPS (Master production schedule) while ensuring cost and quality compliance.

  Collaborate with Procurement to ensure materials are ordered, delivered and available in stock to support the production and NPI requirements.

  Monitor and achieve optimal inventory turnover consistent with plant efficiencies, customer service and distribution requirements.

  Identify inventory loss exposure routinely; work with finance to avoid or reserve for potential loss. Minimize and/or purge surplus/obsolete/deleted/rejected inventory.

  Experience working in a global organisation and have proven people management skills.

  Strategic thinker who can manage different projects and internal stakeholders.

  Communicate supply chain performance, objectives, targets and initiatives effectively within the organisation. Represent and provide updates for SC at project meetings and NPI global meetings.

  Monitor and control trend, report and benchmark key performance measures and report material dashboards internally and externally.

  Maintain active network within organization across functions and other sites in the network.

  Ensure SC processes are documented, followed, and periodically reviewed.

  Responsible for Waste Management and Engineering Stores

  So, what education & experience do you need to succeed?

  You will have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

  5 year + People Management with demonstrated ability to establish and set clear vision and strategy for your team

  3 - 5 Years in Planning Management, Production/Inventory control management/operational excellence experience

  Experience in engaging, collaborating, and influencing at senior leadership level

  Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions through structured trouble shooting methodologies

  Financial expertise preferred
