Supply Chain Manager
Location - Mumbai #LI Hybrid
About the Role:
Ensuring timely supplies of Pharmaceutical formulations (as per NOSSCE norms), manufactured at CMO cGMP facilities and meeting Novartis Internal Quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluation of manufacturing capacities at CMOs along with Department head to meet annual volume projections of existing and new products consistently. Support Head ESO for managing supply related activities/Oversight of CMOs.
• Participate in monthly Pre-S&OP meeting with CPO supply chain and update on monthly Supply plan. Preparing & updating the requisite reports. Ensuring availability of products from CMOs meeting Novartis Quality and as per NOSSCE norms.
• Participating in Monthly S&OP meeting with CMO's and participate in ABR meeting with SRT. Co-ordinate timely launch of new products from CMOs.
• Monitoring of GMP implementation and compliance in product manufacturing and packaging process as per Local Production Instructions.
• Coordinating with CMOs, MS&T, Purchase, Planning and Quality assurance for timely manufacture of Novartis products at CMOs & also ensuring timely payments to them. To act as Customer interface with CPO.
• Prepare NOSSCE related decks and represent SRT in NOSSCE governance meeting. Co-ordinate consolidation and reporting of NOSSCE KPI. Co-ordinate SRT level governance meeting like OOB, LT meetings, etc.
• Co-ordinate in resolving supply related issues, payment issues, etc.; HSE/RP/Anti bribery - Audit intimation /CAPA follow up. Availability of all products week wise & month wise as per Pre S & Op plans complying Novartis quality requirements/ NOSSCE guidelines.

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• MBA with a university degree in Pharma or other related natural/technical field. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
• 15-20 years in the pharmaceutical industry (Production/SCM), hands on experience in demand planning, supply planning, risk assessment on demand planning
• Experience on SAP, MS Excel, and hands on experience on end to end supply chain process.
• Good business Understanding of product costing, project management and impact of product availability on business. Expertise in manufacturing technology, understanding of in GMP requirements as per Novartis guidelines.
• Collaboration with CMO's and other department in ensuring timely launch of new products, transfer of current products from one site to other and meeting ESO' market oriented targets.
• Collaboration with other departments to meet objectives of the organization. Discharging of department functions effectively in light of changes in business environment and to meet stretched targets resourcefully.
