Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

This role functionally manages several projects in multi-geographies. For each, ensures that processes are designed, implemented, and qualified in the different phases of the offer Creation Process projects to achieve Customers lead time, on time delivery, inventory health, sales targets. It takes into account upstream & downstream supply chain. The role defines & implements the supply chain planning processes in Offer Creation processes. The Person in charge would manage the evolutions of those processes.
This role requires being ready to challenge status quo, roll up your sleeves and work together with cross-functional teams to develop, test and operationalize solutions as well as ensure its smooth adoption by effective change management within our organization. This role provides a unique path to grow as a leader and subject matter expert in supply chain planning, while developing both business acumen and technological edge.
This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain for DND.
Responsibilities:
Secure effective monitoring / support and coordination for NPI
Assess Demand Plan & Understand Portfolio (NPI/EOL)
Review, Create & deploy Global Supply plans (Vendor forecast handover) based upon MKT demand and supply constraints
Coordinate entire Long tail management program
Reinforce our foundations in Inventory / Material Management related to Offer management
Help us in migrating our End to End planning capabilities towards IBP SAP for NPI Management
Proactive management of the constraints and escalation point to Business
Coordinate Global allocations related to NPI
Manage relationship from an End to End supply chain with the business for Industrial transfers and Launches
Support us in our journey to mature our SnOP practices as well as S&OE foundations integrating Offer management as part of the discussions / decisions making
Identify & drive opportunities to balance between Inventory / Transportation and manufacturing Costs
Criteria:
Minimum 5 years of related experience in supply chain function.
Having end to end understand supply chain and planning skills is a must and factory experience is a plus.
Strong in process mapping and process management
Excellent communication skills, able to interact with internal and external partners.
Problem solving skills as a team player with positive attitude, attention to details while remaining with strong business acumen.
Work proficiency in English and Mandarin with good communication ability.
Knowledge of SAP and familiarity with Microsoft Office and good presentation skills.
