Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALST (PLCYPLN) in the Code 53504 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will oversee government technical specialists, engineers and scientists supporting various projects in the Division. You will plan, assign, and direct tasks; set performance expectations and evaluate employee contributions; approve leave; recommend discipline, awards, and promotions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must reflect one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. NM-05: In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 or pay band NM-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that is knowledgeable of the principles and concepts of government contract and procurement methods; knowledgeable of Systems Engineering of C2 systems and major platforms/weapon systems that employ Tactical Data Links and applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures; knowledgeable of IT systems processes, project management and cyber security.
