Description
Leidos is seeking a Clerical Supervisor team member to work on-sight in support of the Civil Rights Division in Washington, DC. Please note this is not a remote position. The selected individual must be able to work onsite at least 2 day a week in Washington, DC.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversees clerical staff in performing support functions such as photocopying, courier/delivery services, document retrieval, faxing information, etc.
Performs quality control and ensures timely delivery of all specified deliverables.
Generates complex memos, letters, claims, PowerPoint presentations, and travel arrangements for attorney teams.
Tracks progress of all clerical activities and reports status to appropriate Leidos manager.
Arranges routine and emergency service and maintenance of office equipment.
Oversees the organization and maintenance of correspondence files.
Setting up Zoom, Microsoft Teams conference calls
The pay for this position will be $27/hr.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, telephone systems, fax machines, numbering and binding equipment, etc.
Must be able to write and print clearly.
Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills.
Attention to detail very important.
Ability to work well in a team environment and ability to read and follow instructions very important.
Must be able to prioritize and manage work for a number of people.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Should have significant experience working in the legal field reporting to numerous attorneys.
Should have significant experience with all Microsoft Office features including generating mass mailings, PowerPoint Presentations, complex Excel spreadsheet, memos, letters, and claims.
Should have significant experience with working with documents online.
Should have significant experience with downloading files from drop boxes or network sites.
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits. The pay for this position will be $27/hr.
