JOB OVERVIEW
An IAM Supervisor plays a critical role in driving revenue and managing a team of inside sales representatives. Successful IAM Supervisors balance leadership, strategy, and a deep understanding of the sales process to drive their team's success in generating revenue and fostering customer relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management:
Hire, train, and develop inside sales representatives.Set clear performance expectations and goals.Provide coaching and mentoring to help team members succeed.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.Manage work schedules and workload distribution.Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement inside sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.Set sales targets and quotas for the team.Create sales forecasts and monitor progress towards targets.Identify market trends and opportunities.Sales Process Optimization:Design and optimize the inside sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.Implement sales methodologies and best practices.Streamline workflows and remove obstacles that hinder sales productivity.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong customer relationships.Assist in complex sales negotiations and high-value deals.Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Generate regular reports on team and individual performance.Use data to make informed decisions and refine sales strategies.Sales Training and Development:Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the inside sales team.Keep team members updated on product knowledge and industry trends.Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Technology and Tools:Identify and implement sales technologies and tools (e.g., CRM systems) to enhance productivity and tracking.Ensure the team is proficient in using these tools.Sales Collateral and Resources:Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, presentations, and materials that support the sales process.Ensure the team has access to necessary resources.Performance Metrics and KPIs:Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the inside sales team, such as conversion rates, call volume, and revenue.Hold team members accountable for meeting KPIs.Conflict Resolution:Address conflicts and issues within the team.Find solutions to interpersonal or operational challenges.Compliance and Ethics:Ensure that the sales team operates in compliance with legal and ethical standards.Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies and industry regulations.Market and Competitive Analysis:Keep abreast of market trends and changes in the competitive landscape.Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics.Budget Management:Manage the budget allocated for the inside sales team, including expenses related to personnel, tools, and resources.Communication and Collaboration:Facilitate communication and collaboration between inside sales, other departments (e.g., marketing, customer support), and senior management.Goal Achievement:Ultimately, the IAM Supervisor is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company's revenue growth.
WORK EXPERIENCE
2+ years in inside sales with a proven track record of success
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Demonstrated selling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership skills.

The posted range for this position is $54,000 to $94,500 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a commission not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
