C.H. Robinson is looking for a Capacity Supervisor to join our team in Bucharest. This is a cross-functional role that offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact on our business and the global supply chain. The role is within the EST division - European Surface Transportation, which focuses on road freight.
As a Capacity Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing capacity strategies, managing relationships with carriers, and working with account managers to grow existing accounts. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of professionals, providing guidance and coaching.

Responsibilities
Growth and operational management in respective branchDevelop and implement capacity strategies to ensure that the Bucharest branch can meet customer demand.Manage and develop relationships with carriers, negotiate rates and terms, and secure capacity.Work with account managers to develop and grow existing accounts.Monitor and analyze capacity trends, identify potential risks and opportunities, and recommend solutions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that the Bucharest branch is aligned with the overall company strategy.Lead and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance and coaching.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 7 years of related logistics experience; capacity experience preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in Road FreightMinimum 2 years of prior supervisory experience in related industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluency in English and Romanian is required
Preferred:
Experience in leading and developing a teamKnowledge of industry metrics and a strong affinity with automation, technology, and analytical reporting toolsExperience in account management and salesBachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field
