Job Description
Must Haves:
8-10+ YOE minimum as a site superintendent, field manager, construction manager or similar field oversight role.* 4+ YOE working on federal projects --USACE/EPA ideal.
* 6-8+ YOE on remediation projects -- soil excavations, backfill and restoration, storm water pollution prevention, etc.
o Civil Construction -- landfill closure, mind remediation, soil dig and haul, engineering slope criteria, landfill cap design, thermal remediation.
o Environmental -- remedial investigations & site characterizations, corrective/remedial action, in situ chemical oxidation injection, designing groundwater treatment plants, soil vapor system, ground water pump and treat.
Safety expereince - AHAs, EM 385
HS diploma or GED
Pluses:
* Experience working with USACE and EPA clients.
* Experience with the USACE Resident Management System (RMS) or QCS
Skills and Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Conducting construction inspections (punch-out, pre-final and final acceptance); and maintaining current records and providing factual evidence that required quality control activities and/or tests have been performed.
* Interfacing with program and project managers, senior technical staff, the government customer, and project field personnel and subcontractors
* Subcontractor Management
* Plan development and reviews
* Schedule Reviews and Implementation
* Understanding project specifications, drawings, and designs.
* Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure compliance, safety, and adhering to the project schedule.
* Support multiple project sites and technical tasks concurrently.
* Assist with the development of project schedules for environmental construction tasks.
* Identifying, mitigating, and developing controls for remediation construction site health & safety (H&S) hazards
* Performing required travel throughout the U.S. null
