Job Title: Summer Woodward Copper Action Sports Camp Snow Coach Supervisor

Compensation and Benefits:Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $1,615.38 to $1,725.00+biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass foremployees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Job Summary:
This position supervises the daily operation of the Woodward Copper on Snowprograms. The Woodward Copper Action Sports Snow Coach Supervisor isresponsible for supervision of the Coaching staff on and off Snow as well asthe campers while on snow and on snow activities.
The Woodward Copper Summer Action Sports Snow Coach Supervisor will beresponsible in assisting coaches in overseeing each group of campers andtending to their unique needs while on snow. He / she will haveresponsibilities including training staff, monitoring coaches, campers,assisting coaches with camper skill development and progression, managingvisiting pros and their on-snow activities, as well as ensuring campersafety while on snow. He / She will also be responsible for planning andpreparations for all on-snow activities and schedules. They will also beresponsible for the hiring and HR paperwork for all Coaching staff.
This individual will be responsible for both Ski and Snowboard Coaches willeach have a group of approximately 6 to 10 campers of a similar age. TheAction Sports Snow Coach Supervisor will assist the coaches to ensure smoothdaily transitions.
The Action Sports Snow Coach Supervisor will communicate with the CounselorSupervisor, Office Supervisor, as well as the campers, coaches andmedical staff when necessary, to ensure any physical and psychological needsare attended; e.g., daily medications, challenges during instruction orroom. He / she will convey important communication to the OfficeSupervisor, as well as coaches/day Counselor Supervisor and AthleticTrainer staff, when necessary, to ensure campers needs are foreseen,understood, and dealt with appropriately, (e.g., homesickness, peerchallenges). He / she will be responsible for all on snow activities andwork with terrain park crew to ensure the best build for progression andsafety. He / she will be an Integral part of all-around camp life. He / she willbe responsible for knowing where his / her coaches are at any time duringtheir shifts. He / she may also be responsible for monitoring larger groupsof campers during mealtimes or other times as deemed necessary by theOperations Manager. The Action Sports Snow Coach Supervisor will schedule andtrain the Coaching staff as needed for assistance with camper recreation.
Days and hours may vary but will include weekends and holidays. Good writtenand oral communication skills, computer skills, team player attitude,and cash handling skills required.
The Action Sports Snow Coach Supervisor is a full-time seasonal position andis responsible for the management and supervision of approximately 20-25employees. Days and hours may vary but will include weekends and holidays.Must be able to work in all camp environments within a variety of day andevening hours. Good written and oral communication skills, computerskills, team player attitude, and cash handling skills required. Minimum 2years previous operational management and/or supervisory experiencerequired. Candidates must be available to work the entire summer camp seasonincluding prep and break down from May to August.
