　　The Major Capital Projects (MCP) department is looking for a Construction Managment intern to join their team!

　　About the Major Capital Projects Department:

　　The Major Capital Projects Department has overall program/construction management responsibility for the World Trade Center site, the construction of new facilities such as 2 World Trade Center, associated streets and infrastructure, pump station rehabilitation, the replacement of the current Port Authority Bus Terminal, and the construction of the two new Hudson River Tunnels.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Hands-on, on-site construction management of projects valued up to $100M, such as the building of the West Bathtub Vehicle Access (WBVA), Police Command Center and Maintenance Facility, and the World Trade Center Transportation HubMonitor schedule and budget for projectsReview contract drawings and specifications during constructionPrepare sketches and estimates for contract changes

　　Qualifications:

　　Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program through the Fall 2024 semester (August 2024 or beyond)Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.Excellent written and oral communication skillsInterest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey regionInterest in public service and/or transportationWillingness to learn

　　Internship Details:

　　The start date will be Thursday, May 30 with an orientation that will take place at 4 World Trade Center in Lower ManhattanThe internship will last 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 23This is a full-time internship (generally 5 days per week at 7.25 hours of work per day plus a 45-minute break)The format is expected to be hybrid, partially virtual and partially in-person at One Liberty Plaza in Lower ManhattanThe hourly salary range is $17.20 to $28.85 (the hourly salary is determined by internship type and school year)These details are subject to change
