　　The Chief Development Office is looking for an intern to join their team!

　　About the Chief Development Office & the Tenant Construction & Alteration Process Unit:

　　The Chief Development Office/Operational Performance is directly responsible for performance of the tenant construction and alteration process (TCAP) which is used to manage all construction and alteration of leaseholds at the Port Authority. Additionally, the office is involved in improving many processes that support or utilize TCAP.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Working with the Director of Operational Performance and team to assist on management of on-going automation and technology effortsData and performance analysis for the tenant construction and alteration process

　　Qualifications:

　　Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program through the Fall 2024 semester (August 2024 or beyond)Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.Excellent written and oral communication skillsInterest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey regionInterest in public service and/or transportationWillingness to learn

　　Experience with database management, Power BI, Robotic Process Automation, and process improvement methodologies

　　Internship Details:

　　The start date will be Thursday, May 30 with an orientation that will take place at 4 World Trade Center in Lower ManhattanThe internship will last 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 23This is a full-time internship (generally 5 days per week at 7.25 hours of work per day plus a 45-minute break)The format is expected to be hybrid, partially virtual and partially in-person at 4 World Trade Center in Lower ManhattanThe hourly salary range is $17.20 to $28.85 (the hourly salary is determined by internship type and school year)These details are subject to change
