  About the Role:

  The B2B & TMT Internship is part of the Multi-Media Sales Team of The Wall Street Journal | Barron's Group, supporting the B2B & TMT Media Sales teams. You will gain a basic understanding of all facets of media advertising and learn about our print & digital media sales process. You will get exposure to our sales techniques, multi-platform and cross-functional selling.

  This role is hybrid, based in our New York City office.

  You Will:

  Support our strategic Next Market Cycle (NMC) initiatives via research (client earnings reports, MediaRadar, proprietary studies)

  Perform reporting and analysis to increase revenue

  Support the sales activities of designated Client Partners

  Work with the sales team to develop solutions and partnership concepts and pricing

  Prepare and send proposals for presentations to clients

  Deliver excellent client support

  Provide communication and follow-up with clients and internal departments

  Help with research for meetings and special projects

  Ensure that the sales team has the required sales materials and support information for sales calls and RFP responses

  Receive exposure to the entire pre & post sales cycle across all platforms and products and how they are used to meet the needs of our clients

  You Have:

  At least two years completed toward a Business, Finance, or Economics major

  Interest in Tech/B2B or Data Science

  Familiarity with the Technology Sector

  Familiarity with Google Sheets, Slides and other presentation platforms

  The ability to match marketer's goals with the unique, affluent audiences available through our media properties
