What do you contribute?
As a Sub-Project Manager (f/m/d) for high-speed trains, you will be at the center of technical innovation, working with an experienced team to manage and supervise a number of electrics sub-systems in one of our international execution projects.
In this role, you will assume technical responsibility for the allocated sub-systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness, adherence to schedules and first-class quality.
You will coordinate and manage a large number of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, engineering teams, production, commissioning, certification authorities and customers).
Moreover, you will also be independently responsible for the execution of related supplier contracts.
You will plan, check, and support the approval of technical documentation to ensure a smooth handover to interface partners and customers.
Further, you will ensure that components are delivered on time.
You will design quality assurance measures and drive forward their implementation and controlling.
Also, you will maintain transparency in project operations by taking part in internal and customer project management discussions.
What do you bring along?
You hold a technical degree (Master's/Diploma) in mechanical engineering or a related field.
In addition, you have several years of professional experience in the integration of components and trades in the field of rail vehicle technology.
You have project experience in engineering or sales, preferably in the high-speed train sector and in an international environment.
Also, you have sound knowledge of working with SAP modules.
Certification as a project manager (f/m/d) in accordance with PM@Siemens or IPMA Level C is an advantage.
You have excellent communication skills in English. German language skills are an advantage.
For your role in an international environment, you will be willing to do regular intercontinental business trips (approx. 10%).
