The Boeing Company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert Low Observable Process Quality Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO . In this position, you will be establishing Boeing's Low Observable Processes and program from scratch.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop the next generation of Boeing’s low observable processes that design, fabricate and modify unique metals, bonded materials and coatings that create the stealth effect.

Position Responsibilities:
This position represents the Enterprise in the preparation of quality requirements for bids and proposals.
Consults across business units in developing Quality plans for major programs and consults with major business partners in the development of their Quality plans to ensure the flowdown of requirements.
Represents the enterprise in the preparation of Quality requirements for aerospace industry suppliers.
Works with industry and regulatory agencies in the development of common methods, procedures and metrics for quality standards and practices.
Researches and develops enterprise or industry methods for conducting product and process validation.
Researches and develops new tools for quality improvement of design reviews.
Acts as a key Quality resource for new technology.
Develops new methodology for testing and approval of products (e.g., composite voids), processes, equipment and measurement systems to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Performs benchmarking of industry best practices.
Represents the enterprise on aerospace industry quality associations.
Works independently.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required), with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance Post-Start. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
3+ years of experience in development and execution of low observable processes
3+ years of experience in a Quality and/or Engineering role
3+ years of experience in benchmarking development, process, methodology, governance framework and infrastructure needs
3+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+15 years' related work experience, Master+18 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $158,100 - 233,000
