LabCorp has an opportunity for a talented Student Intern Project Analyst/Software Developer to join a motivated and productive team in delivering enterprise-level lab solutions in the Durham or Burlington, NC area. Responsibilities will include defining and documenting system software requirements, creating system technical and user documentation, and supporting the project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysisCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needsProactively communicate and collaborate with internal / external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirementsServes as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development and support teams through which requirements progressDevelop requirements specifications according to and using the defined requirement process and tools, required by Analyst SOP and project guidelines: Top Team Analyst, JIRA, ConfluenceDeliver functional, non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and user interface designs.Create technical documentation for lab systemsGenerate current and future state process flow, and data flow diagramsGenerate software screen mock-up and prototypesSupport team members and engage with Agile team
General skills (required):
Pursuing Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent in technical, or science related disciplineStrong analytical and organizational skillsCommunicates clearly and effectively; written and verbalMust be able to work independently in the absence of supervision
