The ideal candidate is an individual who is highly proactive, understands traffic flow theory, has good written and oral communication skills, and has an interest in learning and using traffic analysis and simulation programs.We are seeking aStructural Lead Engineer - West Region with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience forour Western Region to work as a Senior Lead Engineer, primarily for bridge design and bridge inspection projects.This position is designated as hybrid and can be located within commutable distance of one of our western offices (Los Angeles, Irvine, Oakland, Rancho Cucamonga, Seattle, Lake Oswego).Primary responsibilities will include:Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other structures related to transportationBridge rehabilitation designBridge load ratingsConstruction document production, including drawings and specificationsPerforming bridge condition inspections, inspections of highway or related structures, including leading bridge inspection teamsPreparing bridge inspection reports and other structural investigation reportsReview of shop drawings, providing response to contractor's request for informationProviding quality check of engineer's computations, designs, or inspection reportsAssist in proposal developmentThe qualified candidate must possess:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)CA, WA or OR PE License is requiredA minimum of 15 years of experience in structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and timber structures, related to transportationExperience in use of Microstation and/or AutoCADProficiency using structural analysis and design software, such as LARS, MDX, LeapBridge, STAAD, or other compatible softwareExcellent written and oral communication skillsCurrent driver's license and safe driving recordAbility to climb ladders, work at heights and perform field work during any time of the yearAdditional positive attributes include:Certified Bridge Safety Inspection (CBSI) CertificationExperience with bridge management database systems, such as InspectTech, VIRTIS, or ASIRFamiliarity with Microsoft Access, MathcadExperience with Maryland SHA, MDTA, or MTACompensation Range:$184,647.00 - $247,594.00Don't meet every single requirement?
