About the Role
As a Strategy and Planning Associate, you will help to build our customer support infrastructure across LATAM and the world. You will also help us transform Uber into a more customer-centric company. You will intake strategic projects from conceptualization to implementation that would result in a better service for drivers and riders. Finally, you will develop presentations to communicate strategic plans and visions, report on weekly/monthly/quarterly results and opportunities, author pivotal initiatives, explore complex business issues, coordinate key strategic meetings with different teams, and develop respective action plans!
They should have a strategic mentality, strong analytical skills, good time and partner management, a creative, problem-solving attitude, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information.
What You'll Do
Design and lead projects and drive analysis to inform important strategic decisions that improve the support experience for our customersLead strategic projects to provide insights to our service modelCoordinate with other members of the Global Community Operations Team to measure the impact and efficiency of products and business processesProvide insights that drive decisions around process, policy and service modelDevelop frameworks to support the company with new markets and productsIdentify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes.Develop and manage tools and processes to complete strategic and business plansActively support all strategic planning and analytical activity for senior management in the region
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of proven experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate strategic planning, operations strategy, or related fields.Capacity to elaborate a complex plan and different layers understanding dependencies, risks, milestones and time control.Capacity of understanding, framing and propose feasible solutions in a fast paced environment or with little context and time to learn.Proven experience in influencing or coordinating a decision making processGreat understanding of business strategy, databases, data relationships, and data integrity. Analytical rigor is a must!Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve complex problems with autonomy.Professional proficiency in English (C1 level)Strong communication skills will allow you to digest and understand business needs from different cities and product linesStrong ability to take a long-term view of the whole picture and think about the business at a strategic levelTo roll up your sleeves and get into the details approachHigh adaptability to change and ability to execute quicklySpeed, resourcefulness, and go getter attitude: Uber is committed to constant improvement.
