Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in strategy consulting, equity research, corporate strategy in a technology company or similar.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with cross-functional programs in partnership with executive leaders.
Experience in a role using market and business forecasting capabilities.
Understanding of AI development trends and/or products in the generative AI ecosystem.
Ability to synthesize and effectively share market intelligence and primary research insights in a rapidly growing environment.
Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$246,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Partner with leaders across Labs to identify and execute against high priority strategic initiatives that tie into some of company-wide priorities in the AI space.
Be the go-to-expert in relevant AI topics under exploration within Labs, enable executive leadership with relevant updates on the fast-changing market and competitive landscape, leverage secondary/third-party research sources, and educate the organization with digestible insights. Identify and track trends.
Participate independently in primary research efforts to inform go-to-market and product decisions. Research scope will include technical, regulatory, and business insights.
Lead efforts to develop product business models, business forecasts, and commercialization strategies by working cross-functionally with Product, User Experience Research, and Finance teams.
Own and develop compelling presentations to update Google’s executives on business problems and opportunities.
