At Atlassian, the Strategy & Business Operations team is a high-impact and visible team that works in partnership with product and business leaders across the company. Using your business insight, analysis skills, financial skills, and creativity, you will partner directly with product managers in our global app Marketplace team. You'll contribute directly to the success of Atlassian's developer ecosystem and the Atlassian Marketplace, leading both supply-side and demand-side strategy projects from launch to execution. You will report to the Head of Strategy and Business Operations for Growth, who will support you to ensure that the solutions developed offer high-quality and actionable recommendations.
What you'll do
Partner with the Head of Product for Marketplace, as well as Data Science, Finance, and Go-To-Market teams, on initiatives to strengthen the Atlassian MarketplaceWork with the broader Strategy and Business Operations team to connect Marketplace decision-making to overall company prioritiesDevelop recommendations and drive consensus through analysis, financial modeling and researchContribute to the weekly and monthly process to monitor performance, including driving the product metrics review cadence and working with a cross-functional team to diagnose problems when they occur
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
3-5 years of experience in two or more areas of product strategy, corporate strategy, go-to-market strategy, monetization, strategic finance, or similarExperience contributing to business case development / strategic recommendationsExperience supporting qualitative and quantitative customer or market researchExperience building financial models, with revenue and cost driversExperience writing executive-ready documents, and presenting to senior leadersA foundational understanding of Marketplace and SaaS business models
