About Strategic Supply and Inventory Planning Manager

Description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

We are looking for a results-oriented individual to support ISCaP planning and sourcing requirements for mission critical part supply chain for AWS data centers. You will work across the team and its customers to align on a short and long-range supply plan. You will contribute to our Global Spare Planning function to understand the needs of our data centers across our network and manage the inventory across different nodes of our supply chain.

If you love being at the forefront of industry growth and development, developing and executing processes in a highly ambiguous environment, identifying information gaps and collaboration needs, and driving business strategy, then this is the spot for you. This is a high impact role offering an opportunity to drive and influence business-critical decisions impacting the long-term future of the business.

As a contributor on the team, the successful candidate will embody the following:

Communicate ideas concisely to a wide variety of stakeholders for purposes ranging from informative to need for approvals from executives.

Embody a true pioneering spirit, willing to “get your hands dirty” in a start-up environment while simultaneously developing processes, automation, and delivering results

Clearly define data requirements and metrics, working with teams to implement the entire data flow from capture to presentation and management

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

If you are an experienced professional with a passion for technology, driving change and impact at a Global scale, you might be a fit for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure supply chain and procurement team. Come armed with your knowledge for a position where you will own, build, and run spare parts supply chain and engage with multiple stakeholders to drive plans and execution to satisfy the demanding needs of a high growth industry, impacting markets worldwide.
