Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in a relevant functional area (e.g., business development, partnerships, sales, management consulting, or investment banking) in any of the following industries: Hardware, Software, Telecom, Platform, and Technology.
2 years of experience in program or partner management at an Internet or hardware company.
Preferred qualifications: MBA degree.
Experience with ongoing partner relationship management, with the ability to serve as an advocate for accounts internally and work collaboratively to identify opportunities or resolve issues.
Experience in project management, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive projects.
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
Excellent negotiations and partnership skills, with the ability to represent Google in agreements discussions and structure terms to achieve ongoing partner alignment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with partner's and Google's executive management.

Strategic Partner Managers have the unique opportunity to create a long-lasting relationship with our partners.The Chrome OS Partnerships team plays a critical role in ensuring Google's continued growth by nurturing the Chrome OS ecosystem. The team collaborates with a variety of internal Google constituencies and prospects, negotiates new partnership agreements, and manages, grows and enhances our existing ones. Our mission is to consistently meet the needs of our internal clients (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) and exceed the expectations of our partners.
In this role, you will manage strategic partner relationships and business development efforts for Chrome OS. You will be a liaison between external partners and Product. You will be responsible for implementing and nurturing relationships in the Chrome OS ecosystem, and for designing and implementing programs to promote the health and expansion of these partners. You will be the primary partner contact for some of our most important partners, leading our collaboration with them to help aid platform development. You will also track and resolve business and technical issues with our partners and identify new partnership opportunities.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Lead strategic partner relationship management and business development efforts for Chrome OS. Identify, create, negotiate and implement effective business development agreements that drive results across the Chrome OS platform business. Maintain consultative business relationships with hardware or software partners and gain exposure to partners' business initiatives to positively impact platform ecosystem proliferation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations. Lead quarterly business reviews with partners and offer a strategic perspective of the partnership, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
