Strategic Marketing Analyst
Location – France

Performs complex analyses and prepares medium to long-term forecasts and recommendations in the areas of market size, penetration, segment/product preferences, and marketing practices. Researches market conditions in EMEA to estimate potential sales opportunities of a product or service.
You will be responsible for
Market Intelligence
Produce Quarterly Sector Update Newsletter as an input for Customer Business reviews with key accounts. Coordination with the Business Analysis Team.
Provide competition capabilities’ analyses, maintain the box plants asset database with relevant public information (data research, contact with local Business leaders)
Support the yearly Strategic Plan effort with ad-hoc insightful market trend analyses and supply/demand forecast
Mix Improvement and Strategic Marketing Plans
Analyze and understand box plant past performances and drivers (volume, profitability, segment mix, seasonality…)
Size the local corrugated supply/demand, estimate the importance of the end-use sectors via the manipulation of external database, data research, ad-hoc analyses
Assess local competitive landscape, strengths and weaknesses
Deep dive into strategic / target sectors
Help the business identify mix improvement opportunities (mix-in, mix-up, mix-out)
MBVC ( Market Based Value Creation) projects
Support the business in the thinking and data structuring process by using the MBVC methodology and tools.
Provide ad-hoc environment analyses for capex / strategic investment projects
You have
5+ years professional experience in business or market analysis functions
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI (super-user level)
Able to operate in project mode (Project Manager / Team Player)
Ability to build effective relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written communication
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Fluency in English and local language
Higher education degree or equivalent business experience required (preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or Management)
Ability to travel (20% of working time)
