Zendesks award-winning marketing team is looking for an experienced, hands-on senior event experience professional to join us on a journey of becoming an iconic software company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, driving, and optimising our strategic marketing events across the EMEA region to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support overall business growth.
This is a senior position that requires strategic approach to events, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of event marketing in the SaaS industry. What you'll be doing
Develop and implement a comprehensive regional event strategy in EMEA aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectivesLead all aspects of end-to-end event management for flagship EMEA events, including event concept development, planning, execution, and post-event analysisPartner with field marketing, engagement marketing, content, creative, sales and other go-to-market teams to ensure seamless and consistent event execution across EMEAManage event vendor relationships, contracts, and budgetsMeasure, analyse, and report on the success of the event programme, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement as well as closely tracking programme ROIConduct thorough market research and stay up-to-date with regional event landscape as well as emerging event technologies to identify and proactively propose innovative event concepts
What you bring to the role
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field5+ years experience in strategic event management or field marketing with events component, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry in EMEA or globallyProven track record of planning and organising successful marketing events, including conferences, trade shows, smaller-scale VIP events, as well as virtual events or webinarsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external partnersData-driven approach, capable of analysing event engagement metrics and ROI, and making data-backed recommendationsCustomer-focused with passion & empathy to help businesses improve how they engage with their customersFlexibility to travel within the EMEA region as needed to support event execution

In this role, youll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. Well provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together-even when were apart. Being digital first doesnt mean were digital only. Youll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces. We will bring our people together on occasion to connect, collaborate, learn, or celebrate in person.
