JOB OVERVIEW:
The Strategic Account Manager I ("SAM I") will be responsible formanaging and developing customer relationships and growing business with HenrySchein's most strategic high-profile customers. This individual will beresponsible for internal and external support on strategy, execution, andresults of the assigned strategic accounts. The SAM I will nurture, supportand sustain positive and productive long-term relationships to optimize thecustomer's return on investment in Henry Schein's value proposition andvast portfolio of products and services. The SAM I will assist with creationof innovative programs to diversify Henry Schein's market position andstrengthen HSI's customer partnerships and connectivity. This position willdrive products/services expansion across Henry Schein's distributionbusiness and the entire Henry Schein portfolio, and overall customerexperience. The individual will report to the Sr. Manager assigned to a groupof accounts. The SAM I will partner closely across the Henry Schein teamincluding the customer delivery team, customer care team, merchandiseteam, operations team, equipment and service teams, field team, andpartners at the individual portfolio companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Account Management -Provide internal and external leadership foraccount management planning and execution.Customer Relationship Building - Support and reinforce customer loyaltythrough Henry Schein's best-in-class support teams, products, and services.Contract Management - Assist and support Henry Schein team with RFPs,contract design, and renewals by focusing on growth opportunities andprofitability performance. Continue to support and drive customer engagementactivities and promote contract compliance.Account Team Leader - Develop a partnership with key customer contacts andinternal support teams.Reporting - Collect and utilize available data to generate account-levelinsights, analyze trends and identify opportunities to elevate to thecustomer.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of anyapplicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industrycertifications; professional certification may be required to advance.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Travel typically 30% to 40%. Office environment. No special physicaldemands required.
The posted range for this position is $71,280 - $124,740 which is theexpected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role tofully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee paywithin the posted range including education, prior experience, training,current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus notreflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
