What are my responsibilities?
Supervise the warehouse and coordinate the daily warehouse activities such as: receiving, storing spares, and managing inventory levels.
Ensure the efficient delivery of spears, and tools, supervising staff and securing the warehouse.
Receive incoming goods and physical checking of goods received.
Validate the items’ details (item code, description, quantity with documents)
Ensure the correct use of transport and manage safe unloading/loading during receiving/issuances as per instructions.
Follow Storage guidelines in general to monitor and guide store helpers.
Assist in the presence of quality and user inspection of received goods to ensure proper handling and avoid mishandling at any stage.
Validate incoming goods for visible damage, document it & provide information.
Report about rejected Items recording & shift it to the assigned area with documents record.
Report about passed Items recording & shifting to the respective item’s bin.
Capture relevant data in CMMS (receiving, rejection, issuance, transfer, return)
Maintain receipts, records, and issuances from stores.
Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to DG items.
Perform all stock-related duties, including returning, packing, sorting, and labeling materials.
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
Follow up and coordinate for upcoming delivery schedule.
Attend toolbox talks as well as the planned training.
Record and track Scrap and Waste reported to the warehouse supervisor.
Record & report visitors in/out in the logbook as per instruction
Organize regular stock maintenance & inventory in the storage area as per instructions.
Mark the items in the store for general identification
Liaise housekeeping for storage area.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Diploma.
1-3 years of experience as a store keeper.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
