Job Title: Assistant Manager, Store Design
Reports To: Regional Manager, Store Design

This roll contributes to the following:
1. Manage and design multiple brands. (Prelim - finals).
2. Responsible for the quality of design drawings sets and standards of all brands.
3. Project Management.
4. Coordinates all technical aspects with shop fitter and GC for all brands.
5. Responsible for quality assurance in furniture and installation.
6. Liaise with VM and ensure all prelims are compliant.
7. Help to communicate with Brand for approval.
8. Production + Construction + Installation +Punch.
9. Coordinate Value engineering.
10. Works alongside senior manager of SD in all aspects of design, production, construction, and implementations of internal programs.
11. Supports the SD team in the Sustainable initiatives.
Leadership
Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company. Establish and communicate design standards. Provide store design team with design guidance and direction. Comfortable to make decisions.
Planning and Execution
Shares knowledge of regional trends, communicates/educates store design team and translates into store and new concept design. Lead design review in partnership with Design Manager. Educate new and existing shopfitters, update them on new techniques, details and directions for store design Push seamlessly the project timelines. must have a strong sense of urgency.
Business requirements
1. Design and complete high profile, brand building and/or core store projects per year.
2. Collect regional design spirit differences and work with the store design team to identify opportunities.
3. Collaborates with other regions and identify opportunities.
4. clear concise communication.
5. working with all levels of the company.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in architecture required.
• LEED certified a plus.
• Software skills:
• Knowledge of Vector Works: 2D + 3D// Library implementation required.
• AutoCAD 2D + 3D required .
• Adobe Suite (Photo Shop + Illustrator + InDesign) required.
• Sketch up required.
• Microsoft programs required. Project timeline is a plus.
• Cinema 4D a plus.
• After Effects a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience in the design industry in the retail field.
• A strong understanding dept. store or airport planning/zoning.
• Experience in Store Planning, Visual Merchandising, and strong drafting skills. In addition, experience with Furniture design for construction including drawing sections, isometrics and perspectives.
• Travel required 30%.
• Project Management and Organizational skills a must.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $66,500 to $102,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
