  Who we are looking for

  We are looking for an energetic professional to be an Investment Strategist in our Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) group. Based in Dubai, the OCIO Investment Strategist will serve in an investment advisory capacity for OCIO clients in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The Investment Strategist role is part of State Street Global Advisors' Investment Solutions Group ("ISG"), a global multi-asset class solutions team.

  The Investment Strategist will be primarily responsible for working directly with clients in formulating their overall strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment policy statement design, risk framework and supporting governance structure. As a strategist, you will collaborate with our broader OCIO team who provide manager selection recommendations (in public and private markets), and our trading and portfolio management team. In a client facing capacity you will partner with our OCIO relationship managers and interface regularly with client investment committees and staff as part of the overall investment portfolio and performance review.

  This position reports to the managing director, Head of OCIO Investment Strategy - Investment Solutions Group. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record delivering holistic investment solutions as an OCIO provider, investment consultant, wealth advisor, or asset owner.

  Why this role is important to us

  This role will contribute to SSGA's strategic priority to expand in the Middle East and a key part of SSGA's Investment Solutions Group ("ISG") and OCIO offering in the region. An important part of the Investment Strategist role is to support and help drive new business activity, as a subject matter expert, in collaboration with our business development team. In addition to OCIO, ISG's offerings include asset-liability modeling/spending analysis, asset allocation, model portfolios, open-architecture manager research, portfolio rebalancing, liquidity management, exposure management, and multi-asset class product offerings.
