Job Description CapTech is seeking a highly motivated Account Lead / Program Manager in our State and Local Government Industry Vertical to drive client account growth and provide solution delivery leadership. This individual will be responsible for the total health of CapTech’s State of Georgia client account, considering internal and external factors to create the account strategy and plan, energetically leading the process to grow the account through intentional relationship building, leading a team to execute the account plan and ensure delivery success, and partnering with internal CapTech leaders where needed to achieve the account’s goals. This individual will proactively and regularly review key business metrics to identify areas where action or adjustment is needed to ensure successful outcomes in both account growth and excellent client delivery.
Specific responsibilities for the State of Georgia Account Lead / Program Manager include:
Build and maintain CapTech’s presence across state agencies for the State of Georgia.
Lead expansion of client relationships through consistent, onsite client engagement, personal initiative, and identification of opportunities to leverage other CapTech leaders.
Develop and execute an annual account growth strategy, monitoring progress throughout the year and adjusting as needed.
Identify emerging client needs to build a sales pipeline, collaborating with CapTech’s technical leaders and other State and Local Government Industry Vertical leaders to secure new solutions-based business.
Partner with CapTech’s Proposals team to organize and develop winning responses to RFPs and RFIs.
Manage large and complex consulting engagements with responsibility for overall delivery approach, quality, and client satisfaction.
Lead the account’s staffing demands, creating right-sized, cross-functional delivery teams positioned to exceed client expectations.
Establish and oversee a team of account managers to ensure consistent account management practices and total account health in financials, delivery, and people.
Provide mentoring, development opportunities, and performance feedback to CapTech consultants.
Qualifications Specific qualifications for the State of Georgia Account Lead / Program Manager position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of consulting industry experience or strong consulting acumen in professional services related leadership capacity.
8+ years of experience in project or program management successfully delivering complex technology solutions, with specific experience delivering projects for state and local government agencies.
5+ years of client account management with revenue growth responsibilities and results, or other relevant experience.
Proven experience identifying and leading the sales of creative and innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
Experience leading and writing RFP responses, creating proposals, and writing statements of responses for government agency work.
Excellent relationship building, problem solving, decision making, and people leadership skills.
Preference to those with ownership of book of business across multiple state agencies or specialized acumen in a particular state agency.
