  Description

  Staffing Coordinator at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

  Responsibility for a variety of tasks related to greeting, registration, pre-registration, insurance authorization, verification of benefits, explanation of various hospital forms and policies, scheduling appointments, answering telephones. Responsibilities include supporting pharmacists, gathering clinical information, communicating with providers and other clinicians, transferring medical records, reviewing medical records. Responsibly include checking patients in for appointments, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, coordination of care. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate recurring outpatient accounts, entering charges, calculating and reporting department statistics. Also responsible for ordering and maintaining supply and materials inventory, tracking test supplies, and other general office duties. Conducts special projects as assigned. Coordinates all aspects of patient care to ensure continuity of care.

  The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
