FINDING PEOPLE FOR JOBS, AND JOBS FOR PEOPLE.
As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify jobseekers for temporary/contract roles with companies andorganizations in your local market. This is a full-cycle recruitingrole. From sourcing to placement, you will run the entire recruitingprocess. You will spend your time engaging in conversations with jobseekers, whether it be over the phone, via email, or in-person. You willbuild strong relationships with job seekers by coaching them throughoutevery step of the job search process - from resume editing tips tricks, to interview pointers, all the way through post-interviewbreakdown and accepting a new position. In the time not spent findingthe next great candidate for the job, you will be meeting with your teamto discuss open positions, posting advertisements for open jobs, andlearning to utilize online sourcing tools and resources.
To be a successful Staffing Consultant, you must be resourceful, havestrong personal initiative, and be a fantastic judge of character. Itwill be up to your individual discretion to determine the right job fitbased on the job seekers capabilities and business character. BeaconHill will rely on you not just to find good candidates, but to selectthem from among the many individuals who will be vying to become BeaconHill candidates, and then to match them with the right companies, jobs,and work environments. You will not just be reading resumes. You mustlook beyond that and read people.

YOUR DAY:
Identify prospective candidates - via job board search tools,LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, professional networkingProactive cold calling to identify prospective candidates. Althoughthis can be challenging, setting the foundation early by reachingout to as many candidates as possible is critical to your success.Post jobs on job boardsInterview prospective candidatesPrep candidates for interviews with client companies - reviewresumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviewsContact candidates post-interview - recap interview, provide nextstepsDeliver the good news! - extend job offers and manage the offerprocess for candidatesReach out to candidates who are on assignment - make sure they haveeverything they need!YOU'LL NEED:
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. The coreof your day is going to be spent communicating - as such, the betteryou can demonstrate your ability to listen, understand, explain yourposition, and work with other people (from those you spend time withinternally on your team, to those you've just met), the better.A love for working with people.
