Senior System Integration Test Engineer will be a part of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Research Center. The incumbent will be responsible for instrument integration and application software testing of existing and newly developed products in support of Product Development groups, particularly focused on Mass Spectrometry (MS) as well as LCMS, GC, and ICMS applications. In this role, you will apply your MS, LCMS, GCMS, and software testing experience in both implementing established test protocols and in collaborating with Development Scientists and Engineers across sites to test brand-new chromatography and mass spectrometry software products.
The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the product development from product definition to final releaseWork closely with multiple teams to ensure successful integration of platform and product SW packages across a variety of environments and topologiesCoordinate and perform end-to-end testing of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry software solutionsAct as the quality gatekeeper for large scale SW programs involving multiple integrated components delivered from globally distributed development teamsCommunicate project status and issues to other functional teams, collaborators, and managementFacilitate the removal of roadblocks as they arise to ensure team efficiencyGenerate clear documentation for project documents and status reportsCreate and implement integration, compatibility, and solution level test casesParticipate in project planning and progress trackingContribute to the timely delivery of the CMD software projects within budget
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science, MS in Chemistry/Bioinformatics or equivalent
Requirements:
Minimum of 10+ years of laboratory experience using Thermo or competitor software or equivalent experience testing scientific software or experience with Liquid Chromatography/Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry applicationsProven technical\scientific knowledge in Life Sciences using Mass Spectrometry or similar techniquesAbility to test, and investigate and solve problems involving multiple component software packages across a wide variety of potential customer environments and topologiesA thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative analytical chemistryGeneral principles of IT infrastructure required to test enterprise level SW products

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €40 500,00-€67 500,00.
