Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a member of the Global Tech Indirect Procurement Technology team, you'll be learning and practicing strong sense of ownership, solving complex problems, applying passion for technology in your work, foster strong relationships and build trust, and works for the success of the entire team. These projects directly impact how our store and home office associates Source, Contract, procure, receive, and pay for Goods Not for Resale. You'll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies and best practices. As a member of the team, you'll be able to say that you work for the world's largest retailer and contribute to the deployment of best-in-class technologies that transform our back office.
What you'll do:
De-risk transformational programs across various dimensions of risk such technical, org, informational asymmetry, product, data science and business adoption. Drive best-in-class technical program management practices.
Be an active problem solver that owns outcomes on behalf of cross-org teams.
Create the program structure and shared alignment with the program team across Walmart on vision, business goals, program, and secure cross-functional teams dependencies' commitment.
Lead executive committee meetings with key stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.
Provide on-going visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) to all stakeholders.
Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent program teams from delivering on program outcomes.
Manage new and existing technologies integration.
Create a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, speed, innovation, and learning.
Be a thought leader who can help accelerate the capabilities delivery and challenge others to change.
What you'll bring:
Program Management Experience leading multiple programs.
Strong experience with Enterprise Agile Program Management
Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Exceptional and concise verbal and written communications skills
Skilled in Data-driven, objective analysis and decision making.
Ability to manage large, complex programs in an Agile environment.
Exceptional technical depth across domains such as engineering, system design, product management and data science
Passion for Indirect Procurement
Personal and professional maturity in a high-paced, ambiguous, high-pressure environment.
Superior critical thinking skills to take high-complexity spaces and decompose to tractable pieces.
Comfortable presenting to and persuading multiple stakeholders from front line associates to business and Global Technology Executives
