　　Job Description Visa Crypto Engineering Team is building the next generation of payment products leveraging the capabilities of blockchain networks. Our focus is to build intuitive features that enable profound new value for our customers across the blockchain and cryptocurrency eco-systems. We are hiring for an experienced Software Engineer who is a proficient programmer, have experience in building highly scalable systems, and a Crypto/blockchain enthusiast.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

　　• Good backend programming experience using either Java or Golang

　　• Good experience in building scalable, high-performing distributed systems including APIs, orchestration layers, 3rd party integrations, monitoring & alerts, and high availability.

　　• Experience in the entire Secure Software Development Life cycle including version control, CI/CD, unit-testing and performance testing.

　　• Proficiency in blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or others.

　　• Good understanding of layer 2 scaling solutions

　　• Solid understanding of smart contract development and deployment.

　　• Experience with cryptographic protocols and security principles.

　　• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

　　• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

　　• Experience in payments and financial services a plus.

　　Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

　　Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
