Job Description We are currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure Logic Apps and preferably Microsoft Biztalk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our ongoing transition from Microsoft Biztalk to Azure Logic Apps, while also working on new integrations for our People business team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the People business team to understand their requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient integrations.
Lead the migration of existing integrations from Microsoft Biztalk to Azure Logic Apps.
Develop new integrations using Azure Logic Apps to support HR applications and operations.
Produces design solution once business requirements are finalized.
Consults with testing team to define testing strategy and write testing scripts
Consults with deployment team to define deployment strategy and schedule
Consults with CIT architect and external groups if non-standard solution
Submits and manages Security Assessment(s), firewall rules, Storage team requests, etc.
Conduct thorough testing of integrations to ensure their functionality and reliability.
Provide technical support and issue resolution for integration-related problems.
Document integration designs, specifications, and procedures to ensure system integrity.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in integration development and recommend improvements to existing systems.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in application development unit testing
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with SaaS and externally hosted applications
• Azure Logic Apps, ETL, and/or other middleware tool experience preferred
• Experience in MongoDB and NoSQL
• Experience with the Microsoft .Net Framework, C# coding and the Visual Studio IDE and TFS
• Proven experience working with technologies such as XML, XSD, XSLT,WSDL, XPath, JSON and SOAP/REST Web Services and Web technologies
• Experience with Transport protocols including MQSC, WCF, FTPs, HTTPs, SMTP, LDAP
• Experience with HTML and JavaScript and other web client technologies
• Basic SFTP and encryption knowledge
• Experience working effectively with business and IT staff in multiple locations and in a multinational environment is very strongly preferred
• Proven experience in eliciting and elaborating business requirements, drafting system design specifications, and developing technical solutions
• Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues. Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly
• Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users. Active listener, customer focused, relationship builder, team player
