About the Role
Collaborate with product management, technical leaders, and architecture in the design of software products. Write well-written, self-documenting code that follows best practices and design patterns. Design, implement and launch highly visible features for our Custom-Built Inventory Planning platform using Test/Behavior Driven Development practices. Partner with like-minded engineers in empowered and self-organized product teams. Lead, follow, and teach others during the development of software. Practice relentless automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Develop, test, deploy, and support software that supports business needs. Be available to support and resolve production issues/outages. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and strong multi-tasking ability. Measure the Effectiveness of the Inventory Planning Applications using Data Bricks and Pythons processes. Convert Legacy Mainframe Applications to Modern Tech Stack Reorder Applications. Telecommuting permissible from any location in the US.

Who You Are
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience or the job offered or related role.
Experience and/or education must include:
REST APIs Development using Microsoft C#, .Net, ASP .NET, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, React JS, Java, Spring, Springboot, PCF, Kubernetes, Docker and cloud technology such as Microsoft Azure;Databases such as IBM DB2, MS SQL Server and NoSQL such as CosmosDB, MongoDB;Architecting, designing and developing highly scalable and available applications;DevOps practice including CI/CD; Experienced with tools used for testing, debugging, code analysis and coverage;Windows App Server Nodes, Azure Load Balancer and Gateways;Automation Test Tools, such was JUnit, NUnit, Cucumber and Spec Flow;Continuous integration tools, like Jenkins and Code Fresh;Proficient with COBOL, JCL, DB2 processes running in the Clerity Environment and ability to make code changes and support the legacy applicationsRewrite Legacy Applications into Sprint Boot / React JS based ApplicationsAbility to build Measurement Framework using Python and Leverage Databricks to measure Inventory Planning Application EffectivenessBenefits at Gap Inc.

Salary Range: $111,600 - $163,900 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
