About the Role
Build and support multiple databases for logistics, distribution center/warehousing systems and vendor applications such as Manhattan warehousing system, TGW automated storage and retrieval systems, and others that are used by Enterprise scale companies. Implement and maintain enterprise level monitoring used to monitor warehouse management databases to ensure the stability of these systems. Design and implement high-availability solutions for Distribution Center databases to ensure system availability. Triage Production issues and provide short- & long-term resolution for distribution Center databases (100+ production databases). Complete warehouse management database builds following vendor specifications, architecture design, and security standards. Performance tune enterprise scale oracle warehouse management and logistics databases to ensure service level agreement are met. Implement oracle maintenance, security, and backup solutions on warehouse management databases to ensure proper protection and recoverability. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the US.

Who You Are
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or a related role.
Experience and/or education must include:
Developing and supporting Oracle databases;
Monitoring and Optimizing Oracle database Performance and Capacity Planning;
Developing and maintaining jobs for monitoring and reporting various aspects of system performance, resource utilization, and application usage; and
Developing and maintaining scripts for automating database deployments and updates.

Salary Range: $117,400 - $174,000 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
