About the team + role
We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our growing Research PgM team.
In this role, you’ll establish and maintain team-wide programs and operations, including creating and managing processes to support research logistics and tools for the team. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes responsibility and ownership to make processes or programs run smoothly, and who has the ability to understand the team’s needs and dynamics, including as they evolve. This role requires some project management experience, as well as a general sense of the research process, and research's impact on product design and development. Strong organization skills, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics are mandatory.

What you’ll do
Build out and create resources for programs such as research best practices, onboarding, processes and vendor managementManage all research systems and tools, including the procurement process, access management and renewalsDrive contractor and agency process for research: (outreach, procuring, legal and compliance clearance, hiring, onboarding, offboarding) Ensure renewals and approvals are taken care of.Predict roadblocks and obstacles and establish meetings or integration points between teams. Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutionsCreate and manage processes and relationships between Research and cross-functional partners, including e.g., compliance, legal, securityIdentify the need for new internal processes, templates, and guidelines to improve team efficiency, and refine and optimize processes and documentation over timeTrack and manage research operational items (e.g. NDAs, gift cards, facilities requests)Improve and standardize our research process, including tools, templates, processes and schedules.Highlight timely issues that researchers face, and take quick action to resolve themFind and implement new ways to improve the effectiveness and development of the research team (e.g., conferences, speakers, training, new tools, etc.)
What you bring
7+ years experience as a program manager, or project manager with a background in operations, supporting teams, and developing relationshipsExperience working with research/user experience or related teamsTrack record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized mannerExperience in a fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, and experience identifying problems and working toward solutionsCommunication skills for interacting with researchers or other internal stakeholders, and study participantsExperience working with traditional Research tools & vendors (Ethnio, Qualtrics, Sprig, Suzy, dscout, Dynata)

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
