In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the security and compliance of our products and systems, with a specific focus on Cloud Security and Security Automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps, develop robust security controls, and implement industry-leading practices.You are the ideal candidate if you are a security thought leader who enjoys identifying gaps and designing and implementing corrective measures.What you'll do:Plan, develop, and implement effective security controls in a multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP) environment to safeguard our globally dispersed SaaS productsPartner with architecture and DevOps to design and implement security controls for KubernetesConduct threat models using frameworks like STRIDE, PASTA, or Attack Trees against cloud architecture and advise engineering teams on how to mitigate identified threatsConduct secure code reviews for languages such as Python, Go, C,C++, Lua, or Java ScriptPerform continuous security assessments against Infoblox cloud and kubernetes microservice infrastructureCreate and review Infrastructure as Code with Teraform, Cloud Formation, etc.Design, implement, and maintain security automation solutions with scripts/code to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effortRespond to security incidents and events impacting Infoblox productsCreate a force-multiplier effect by providing technical leadership and mentoring more junior engineersServe as a security ambassador within Infoblox by partnering with other groups within the organization and creating and presenting training on security best practicesTechnologies you will be working with:Kubernetes, Containers, AWS, GCP, Azure, SAST, DAST, SIEM, EDR, CWPP Serverless Functions, etc.What you'll bring:12+ years of Security Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development experienceProven experience working in a senior or lead security engineering roleProven experience identifying and responding to security incidentsHands-on experience with security automation tools and fluency with scripting languages such as Python or Shell.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience deploying, configuring, and tuning a Web Application Firewall, and, or, enabling Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) is highly desirable.Direct Product Security Engineering experience is highly desirableBachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be consideredRelevant industry certifications, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, OSCP, and/or CISM, are desirableUS work authorization requiredWhat success looks like:After six months, you will...Understand the scope of products and services that require security controlsKnow who the key stakeholders are and start building relationships with themLearn current processes a
